Advice to Senior Management
too much work. will have to work over time.
it's sometimes like a sweatshop. micormanaged place.
it's good company. you get opportunities. growing compnay.
Pros
Good rank and file employees that work hard with inadequate resources.
Sound technology company.
Good, market competitive benefits.
Managed costs well during economic turmoil.
Cons
No visible leadership from executive level.
Poor communication of strategic goals and objectives.
Limited pass downs of information.
Very little management accountability.
Weak over arching company culture; no clear identity or consistent values.
Poor corporate infrastructure (i.e., processes, systems, etc.) for a company of it's size.
Executive level management doesn't see any value in benchmarking best practices of other companies.
Limited career growth opportunities for most employees.
Marvell is still managed as if it were a 100 employee company versus a 5000+ employee company.
Advice to Senior Management
The CEO needs to focus on technology and making deals and hire someone to handle the day to day management of Marvell.
It's time to step aside so that Marvell can grow up/evolve.
Pros
You learn a lot by doing a lot. Heavy workload and extended work hours
Cons
no life, just work. no career advancement, unless you are selected few.
Advice to Senior Management
ok. but not great.
