    Pros

Great benefits, good work-life balance, low workload

    Cons

Favoritism is rampant in this company, resistance to new ideas, it takes years for management to allow you to take on big projects, trust on people's ability is a huge issue in this company

    Advice to Management

Replace existing managers with people from outside the company

I worked at Mary Kay (Less than a year)

    Pros

You can dictate your own schedule-in so much as you do have to work with your customers and their schedules.

    Cons

The market for Mary Kay consultant is completely saturated. It is very hard to find someone who has never purchased Mary Kay products, or who hasn't already gotten their own Mary Kay consultant.

    Advice to Management

I would advise less saturation, if possible. I also felt that the conferences were just expensive girl-fests, with not that much substance.
