Credit Analyst (Former Employee) Dubai (United Arab Emirates)

ProsThey throw you to learn different types of things 'coz of the lack of staff experienced in credit cards operations.

-suggestions taken are never seen to be implemented
-HR seems to be on snooze mode and in la la land...get a grip

    Rewarding and Stressful

Assistant Vice President (Former Employee) Dubai (United Arab Emirates)

    Pros- Variety of work experience
    - Practical learning to handle challenges
    - Reasonable remuneration and benefits.
    - Long term career which is diminishing with passage of time

    Cons- Work life balance
    - Individual Power concentration negate partner's self esteem
    - Job uncertainty
    - Senior level skirmishes

Advice to Senior ManagementTreat the workforce with dignity and humanity, policies should be bank driven and not individual driven. Give confidence to workforce (practically) they will not let you down.
Much attention to back office staff strength and quality is required as every year majority of the new staff will lead to losses for the bank.

Good place to work if you have no morals or ethics.

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee) Dubai (United Arab Emirates)

ProsDidn't realise that there were any good points except that other employers may look favourably on you as they know the culture of exceeding targets at all costs.

ConsEven when you exceed your targets, you are classed as average. It's more about office politics than performance.

Advice to Senior ManagementActually do something rather than just make false, empty promises.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
