Pros
Company has hired very solid, talented personnel. They are good to work with and work together reasonably well. Most employees have a reasonable amount of integrity.
Cons
Public company that looks to the current and immediate future stock price rather than planning solidly for the future of the company. Though this is the problem with almost EVERY public company.
Advice to Senior Management
Worry much less about the street and realize where the market is in margins and begin to eliminate your unrealistic expectations.
Pros
pay is ok, but could be better. no raises, no bonuses. layoffs everytime you turn around.
Cons
managment does not listen or care
Advice to Senior Management
pull your head out
Pros
The benefits package was terrific. Great paid time off. Also, there are many offices, around the country. They will pay for relocating to another area of the country. Human Resources on the east coast of the country is very helpful and nice to work with.
Cons
The corporate office is ruthless in aquiring new companies. It is a shame that they will buy out a company with actual intergritiy and lay everyone off and leave a former shell of what the company was. Also, a few employees are very sleezy and have promoted skirt chasers.
Advice to Senior Management
Practice what you preach. Everyone has value in a company.
Pros
Excellent team environment, always support and guidance from upper management, friendly and hard working atmosphere.
Cons
The only downside I experienced while I worked there (because I left) was the treatment of the corporate office towards their newly graduated PDPs. No salary negotiation originally because you're going into a training program, and then when you graduate the salary is generated from corporate office (not the office you've been working for) and is not merit based in the least and once again non-negotiable. Take it or leave it. And in my case the salary for an actual project manager position was less then when I was training to be one; very good salary, don't get me wrong, it's the principle of the matter though.
Advice to Senior Management
I felt senior management was very friendly and helpful. The PDP program needs a few modifications to make it more effective and fair for the actual candidates.
