    Pros

Great offices, Great products and services to offer to clients

    Cons

egomaniacs that don't give up and coming brokers a shot.

    Advice to Management

Invest in the younger brokers, because the boardroom is like a morgue/library and eventually those old heads will be gone, and you are going to need some youth and energy to propel things forward.

    Pros

Very friendly and warm culture that is tightly overseen by the original insiders of the firm. Most focused on the US, however, maintains a strong international desk

    Cons

This is not a place for the faint hearted. The majority of the firm is on commission structure with heavy expenses being applied to your p & L. Before you leap, make certain that your clients are coming and comfortable with their custodian.

There is not much structure from the top down. Hire within firm.

    Advice to Management

Management is doing a good job bringing in deals just need more training and support for other departments.

    Pros

This brokerage firm has nice looking offices in a famous iconic skyscraper (Chrysler Building), which impresses most clients and has easy mass transit connections in midtown Manhattan. .

    Cons

There is little if anything to commend this place. The bottom line is a management that has no interest or concern with its retail brokers. They make you feel like a dairy cow which is tolerated so long as it produces sufficient milk. Payout is on the low side and broker turnover is high. The firm"s only interest is to maximize profit for top management.

    Advice to Management

    Try not to be greedy.
