    Pros

Great business model and broad technology reach. Good compensation with upside for top performers, great benefits and good facilities. Plenty of learning and development opportunities for those motivated to improve (thousands of eLearning programs, IEEE programs, outside webinars, etc.)

    Cons

Need more resources for support groups.

    Advice to Management

More aggressive effort to grow revenue.

    Pros

Really good place to go to gain experience for a couple years, but not a place to stay for a long time. Lots of people are really nice.

    Cons

Stock has grown at a snails pace, they love to blame their customers for their internal problems. The employee voice is lacking in the company.

    Advice to Management

Stop blaming your customers for your poor performance. It really is embarrassing. Tunc- just say you made mistakes and you are fixing them. Accountability is really the best way to go here.

    Pros

Nothing to say that is a pro.

    Cons

Terrible retention of talent....not willing to invest in its people. A terrible place for a new grad to start his/her career. You wont survive a reorganization...the company eats its young. The company's engineering talent is done for.

    Advice to Management

    Lower your stock awards.

    Pros

Creative environment with a strong mixture of analog and digital expertise. Engineers experience a broad base of the design process including business aspects.

    Cons

Very aggressive schedules, unreasonable at times. Too focused on single customer projects which expose the business to their volatility. Design targets don't require cutting edge process geometries.

    Advice to Management

Relax the dress code for employees that are not visiting customers during the summer.

Old mature business. It's better not to stay in Silicon Valley.

    Pros

New HQ building in San Jose is nice. The safety department is awesome.

    Cons

Technology of analog is not as exiting as digital world in terms of feature size, new materials and technology.

Employees are fear of losing their jobs, so that they are so conservative but not aggressive to explore new stuff in day-to-day life.

Pay and benefits are substantially lower than market price.

    Advice to Management

Better not stay in Bay Area.

    Pros

Good quality analog products, known in the industry (good and bad). Constant bonus payout. New campus is something to be proud of

    Cons

Outside of the analog product line (i.e. Optical Sensors) they are destined to fail. You can not run a new business like older product lines. Process and designs are different. Company promises job security and stability only to do layoffs over and over and over again. Interesting how one quarter it's gung ho hiring and building then next quarter is freeze and layoffs.

    Advice to Management

You can not compete with the likes of Google, Apple, Qualcomm with old analog style management and compensation.
