    Pros

The customers were great other than that nothing

    Cons

Upper management is a joke, lying cheats who care only about the selfs. Cut back Cut back is all they say but upper management go on non needed business trips to strip joints up in Wash. and have the company pay for it and laugh about it. This is only one example many more wont even mention the Panama so called business trips.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get rid of all upper management

Company was ultimately sold and positions eliminated

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I thought management did a good job keeping us informed. I appreciated that.

    Pros

great pay even non cdl constant work

    Cons

no communication, shady management and supervisors, move you to keep you away from there even more then the work schedule intels.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

relocate new hires to the area that they will be working, not 5 hours away. better screen your supervisors, make sure to fire the right person and not the one that did the work.

    Pros

Company had the potential grow into the largest petroleum distribution in the company

    Cons

Too many acquisitions too quickly, not repairing the issues with the acquired companies after the acquisition, too many moving parts and lack of organization led to the demise

I worked at Maxum Petroleum full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

I can't think of one good thing about working for this company.

    Cons

They take over the companies they partner with, laying off hundreds of local employess. They only worry about the all mighty buck instead of their employees and the local economies they are damaging. Upper management in CT. never takes the time to know the employees in their smaller companies.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Do what is right. Not just what makes you more money. Greed will eventually be your down fall.
