Not a right place to work....

Senior Analyst (Current Employee) Mississauga, ON (Canada)

ProsIf you are workaholic, go for this place. free food once a month.

ConsManagement giving bad references for their employees during reference check. So be aware.....They built lot of pressure of work for you to create small mistakes and then they terminate you for no reason. Its total non professionalism approach. They learn from new recruits and kick them off...

Advice to Senior ManagementManagement need to learn how to have professional attitude for people who had worked with them and not look for their own benefit

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Not a place I would like to work

Lab Technician (Former Employee) Mississauga, ON (Canada)

ProsGreat "stepping stone" for fresh grads and new immigrants. Multicultural. Not too bad for the permanent employees.

ConsLow salary, high employee turnover rate, nepotism. Individuals with great talent and qualifications will be underutilized and difficult to reach their potential.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

    It's ok

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsManagement is available and overall friendly and accommodating.

ConsPoor pay for the amount of effort put in.

Advice to Senior ManagementQuality workers need to be supported. The same flat raises will not keep quality workers motivated.

    Good entry level experience

Core Logging Geologist (Former Employee) Calgary, AB (Canada)

ProsGreat coworkers, at the beginning the learning curve is steep and exciting

ConsOne you master the basics of the job, it gets repetitive.

    overall good

Analyst II (Current Employee) Edmonton, AB (Canada)

Proswork with them, they will work with you. Work hard and you will be rewarded in the most non-monetary way possible.

Conslack of a living wage for 90 % + of the staff, high turnover = money saver mentality.

Advice to Senior Management1-2 years of showing what you can do should lead to a living wage.

Good for entry level; not much upward movement

Project Manager (Current Employee) Edmonton, AB (Canada)

ProsGreat entry level experience, is a good stepping stone for other jobs. Pay is decent within the industry, but still below similar jobs. Free lunches 2-3 times a month. Health benefits are great. Great health and safety culture.

ConsHuge pressure from management around deadlines. Little room to grow within the company. Will occasionally be called in to work OT/weekends (not the worst thing, but still).

Advice to Senior ManagementSalary needs to be more competitive, especially in the Petroleum LOB. You're losing great employees to better paying jobs in Fort McMurray and elsewhere.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
