Let people do the jobs you hired them to do. Do NOT allow every item to be a concern of a Director or a VP. DO NOT promote or hire people with NO Inter personal skills to be a manager of people. They might be a brilliant Architect or Engineer BUT that doesn't make it easy to communicate with them.

please focus on employee salary. rather than showing deferred benefits like RSUs or ESOPs, show them the immediate salary benefits.

Pros

At McAfee there is a good generally atmosphere in the office. People work well together and people tend to stick around. There are plenty of career development opportunities for those who are willing to not just sit back and wait for their manager to spoonfeed them.

Cons

Unlike the Googles and Facebooks of Ireland there is no proper canteen, gym or chill out areas. Less of an entrepreneurial atmosphere than many tech companies.

Advice to Senior Management

Keep developing the site to bring on more variety in the types of roles available so that people see opportunities to move outside their traditional boxes.
