    Serious lack of integrity

Marketing Manager (Former Employee) San Jose, CA

ProsCompetitive salaries with quarterly bonuses. An Intel company.

ConsSevere lack on integrity stemming from top level down. It is very hard to trust anyone. 'Good old boys' mentality with blatant favoritism. Management is flat with little room for advancement. Development requests fall into a black hole. It's very difficult to get anything done.

Advice to Senior ManagementCourses on management should be required for all managers by HR. Only director level managers and above have direct reports. How can mid-level managers learn to manage people if they aren't allowed direct reports?

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

A great company that works hard to provide good benefits. Needs to weather the current storm and market trends.

Software Developer (Current Employee) Mission Viejo, CA

ProsGreat benefits package, like health insurance, IRA, training
    Conscientious and considerate managers
    Challenging and rewarding work

ConsUncertainty as many of the markets they lead in are starting to slow down. The company can buy companies to boost its lineup, however the outlook may not be bright for teams working on products in segments that are experiencing little or no growth.

Great culture but managers can be hit or miss

Business Analyst Intern (Former Employee) Plano, TX

ProsGreat culture. Good work life balance. If you are lucky to be in sales or management side, you will have great fun.

ConsIf you manager is someone who is sort of like a jackA hard to please type person then its gonna be tough. Especially when every other team is having a good time you are stuck in a team that goes nowhere.

Advice to Senior ManagementTry to make it a very collaborative, valued for what you know rather than who you know place.

    Negative environment

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee) Santa Clara, CA

    Prosgood benefits and smart people

ConsAn "eat your young" environment has gradually taken over since the Intel acquisition. It's become completely non supportive and an aggressively negative place to be. Lots of pressure from Intel on new products has created a constant sense of panic that results in poor behavior at the leadership level. Complete mismanagement of headcount quarter to quarter persists and results in a persistent hire-then fire process.

Advice to Senior ManagementTake care of bullying managers from the top down. They are slowly poisoning the culture. With so much opportunity in high tech A players are unlikely to stick around for the abuse.
