Details
Pros
If you are taking a job in sales and you work hard then you have the opportunity to make a lot of money. The owners of the company are good people but have hired managers who aren't always honest with them.
Cons
The management tends to hold a "take it or leave" mentality. When you have a lot of money in backlog, it's almost impossible to leave.
Advice to Senior Management
Be careful who you put in middle management positions. Just because they are a good salesperson does not mean that they are a good manager.
