I have been working at McDonald's full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Constantly creating fun events, the company tries to have good values and standards. There is a lot of room to grow within the company, job advancement wise.

    Cons

Because of the pay amount and high standards it is difficult for the company to keep up with its value and standards to its employees.

    Advice to Management

Be more stern on employees that don't fit what Mcdonalds tries to be.

    I worked at McDonald's full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I was hired after an online application, which doesn't frequently happen. Furthermore, I had multiple managers, so office politics didn't get out of hand. Expectations are pretty clear, and the workload is usually tolerable.

    Cons

I didn't have much opportunity for advancement. The pay was just minimum wage, and there weren't any bonuses or rewards for better performance.

    Advice to Management

Interact with the workers more; Mystery Shop often wasn't enough incentive to do well. Also, expectations should be fairer for employees. I was reprimanded for using a cell phone during slow hours while my lazier coworker was left alone because it was expected of him. There also seems to be some favoritism towards personal friends. Try to cut back on that if possible.

  10. I love the food and the environment is tolerable.

I have been working at McDonald's part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Only people that have started at the bottom of employee latter move up. NO outside people can come and just be manager when they didnt pay their dues at the bottom.

    Cons

Too many different people training one person on how to do the same thing. One person hows me how to make something, and the next will take short cuts.....
