Pros
Work you don't have to take home.
Cons
A lot of work for little pay.
Advice to Senior Management
Make their managers stronger.
Pros
Daily challenges. Working with the public. French Fries.
Cons
Only 1 weekend a month off.
Advice to Senior Management
Monitor O/O's labor standards closer.
Pros
Mcdonalds is a great place to build a career if you do not have one. but the pay was horrible. Im a certified shift mananger and I've been working for Mcdonalds for four years and I still make $ 8.15 an hour.
Cons
A great deal of work is expected more like hard manual labor with very little pay.The pay was horrible. Im a certified shift mananger and I've been working for Mcdonalds for four years and I make $ 8.15 an hour. Also if you work for Mcdonalds you really will not have time for a social life.
Pros
-It's a job. It gets you out of the house.
-You get to meet people, especially if you're new to the town like I am.
-You learn a lot of neat stuff about the place, like how to work the cash register, get the coffee for the seniors (which is a lot more relaxing than it looks. :D ) & work the ice cream machine. Front register is good for those who are easily entertained.
-Free employee meal/30 minute lunch break.
-Good bit of hours.
Cons
-The management is flat out RUDE!
-One manager literally made a scene and yelled at me just because I accidentally burnt a coffee pot a little bit and I had only worked there (at the time) less than a week.
-Another manager literally shoved me out of the way and did my job for me, though I considered myself pretty good at what I did.
-I only come across 2 friendly co-workers. The rest were unfriendly/didn't act like you existed.
Advice to Senior Management
This McDonald's needs new management, PERIOD.
Be more supportive of new employees; Kindness goes a LONG way.
Make the pay worthwhile; the minimum wage for Ohio has been recently changed to $8.00 an hour and you're still below that amount.
Pros
The managers are great to work with. If you show potential and an actual interest in the company, they have no problem moving you up when there is an open position. Everyone gets to the point where we're more of a crazy family, not just coworkers.
Cons
The only con is some of the upper management. The store managers themselves are very supportive, but every once in a while you run into some upper management who is not as supportive.
Pros
Flexible hours, nice co workers, and ok managers
Cons
Long hours, little pay, and really rude customers
Pros
I worked tgere and enjoyed it alot, i had alot of fun and made the best of my time there, everyone should work there its the absolute greatest.
Cons
Greasy smelly stinky fishy slummy
Advice to Senior Management
Pay more money respect us
Pros
I can meet different people and learn how to communicate well with customers. handle cash balancing skill is going up.
Cons
workplace environment is too hot, not good for health. registers have radiation. working hours are often cut by manages when it is slow.
Advice to Senior Management
being fair to employees, dont ask people who are not from country to do some thing difficult and treat them fairly.
Pros
Some of the people are nice
Cons
Very fast paced
Never have any product, always out of stock on meats
Pros
flexible schedule, basic tasks, easy management, fifty percent discount, free drinks, comfortable uniform, can have nice customers, easy to stay busy.
Cons
can expect too much from 1 employee. favoritism among certain employees. poor management at times. Not enough people on registers.
Advice to Senior Management
Notice who is working and who is not. Do not favor one employee over another. Treat employees with respect and be fair.
