I have been working at McDonald's full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The people you get to work with and interact at times can make it a good place to work at. You get to learn about customer service and how to deal with all different kinds of customers.

    Cons

The hours you get aren't always that good, for a worker that has been there and is a hard working individual sometimes they're hours don't reflect their work due to the scheduling of the employees. You don't get paid enough for all of the work that is done and asked of a person.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Should consider some benefits for employees, better hours for individuals with hard working skills

I worked at McDonald's part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Decent amount of hours for a minimum wage job, not full time but everyone would usually get at least 25 even if they were going to school or had another job. Pretty lenient in terms of discipline. Free food on breaks, half off food other times. Will hire almost anyone to work there. Almost always gives breaks.

    Cons

The work is surprisingly hard and fast paced. Hours can be wild, be prepared to work early morning/late night shifts and regularly get out early/late from work. Also some people would be promoted way too early while others were promised promotions they never got. No requesting holidays off, and no extra pay for working holidays.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be more organized with scheduling. Don't promote 18 year olds to managers after 3 months. Actually work with lower managers to accomplish performance goals instead of just getting them to fudge the numbers.

I have been working at McDonald's part-time for less than a year

    Pros

    Works around school schedule
    Meet New People
    Easy to Become a Multi-tasker

    Cons

    Minimal Management
    Very Low Pay
    High Demanding and High Expectations
    No Opportunity to Grow
Not Enough Hours it you are not a student

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stick up for your employees when they need you. Don't sit in the Back Office and let the senior cashier run the front counter and drive thru. When you employ students, expect to have random schedules and not schedule them on days they clearly let you know they were not available. Check availability to see if you are going to be short staffed, not put the pressure on everybody else that showed up to work. Give your employees an opportunity to grow.
