    Very good opportunity to learn

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsAmazing people around, technically satisfying, no issues with payments, overall a great learning experience even as a Teaching assistant and a research assistant.

ConsI worked as a teaching assistant and a research assistant. The office staff is short in number and overloaded with work, so there are possible delays and even mix-ups in office paper work.

It is a great place to work for those in academia.

    Researcher (Former Employee)
    Montreal, QC (Canada)

ProsIf you enjoy what you're researching then it can be a lot of fun. How much you enjoy the people you're working around really depends on where you are.

ConsFor advancement, professional degrees are necessary, generally a masters and PhD. There are only so many levels on can advance before running into the roadblock of not being able to advance.

Advice to Senior ManagementTry and retain your best talent to keep research at world-class levels.
