Provided many opportunities for hands on experience.
M&P has great clients.
Competitive entry-level pay.Cons
No work-life balance.
Poor communication from top-level management.
Many missed opportunities for on-the-spot training, timely feedback and formal evaluations.
Management emphasizes budget, forcing associates to "eat" (not record) chargeable time.
Unimpressed by senior associates quality of client service.Advice to Senior Management
McGladrey has great values, well designed training/mentoring program, and a goal setting program. These practices should be implemented, not just written in a manual. Firm policies/standards should also be implemented to promote unity and efficiency.
