    Pros

Intellectually stimulating work environment where you are constantly challenged. You have the flexibility to explore different industries and topics or develop a specialty. The org is set up to incent people to collaborate and treat people as partners, which makes all the difference.

    Cons

Most of the work is focused on large companies, and some projects are more interesting than others. You must work to find what you want.

    Advice to Management

Focus on entrepreneurialism within the Firm, especially with BAs and Associates

    Pros

I get to work on the best projects, with the brightest people, on the best locations with vigorous budgets. Never in my extensive career have I had such resources available and a culture that fully supports all aspects of a projects success from both a business and technical aspect. McKinsey's benefits are phenomenal, they are very generous with personal time and time off policies- as long as you are meeting your goals. Honestly, has to be one of the greatest places in the world to work for someone that wants to contribute.

    Cons

Some colleagues can be bratty and pretentious at times - especially some consultants and partners who feel because they have earned their stripes they can do no wrong. Thank goodness that most of the most senior partners consistently have their ear to the wall.

    Advice to Management

Communications of high level plans ultimately have to make it to your teams on all levels and all topics, even non-project related. You can easily lose some excellent people by keeping company long term plans hush-hush and not bringing them up for discussion. We are supposed to be a flat structured company and we should remember that as one of our core values.

    Pros

Generally speaking, great projects, great people to work with, great learning and training experience. The work is quite intensive, I could improve myself a lot during a short period of time. We were intimately close with our clients, and the communication was interesting.

    Cons

No obvious cons. Hours might be a little long. The working pace was quite fast and people need to adapt quite well. Sometimes the deadline was challenging to meet.

    Advice to Management

Very satisfied with the managements. Hope to have more personal interactions among colleagues and build more team events.
