    Pros

Sometimes the scheduling was flexible, that is it.

    Cons

Unequal pay between people of the same job title, it's all about who you know at McLanahan's. They are stingy with pay and upgrading old equipment and sometimes that gets in the way of your job. The owners are rich entitled middle aged men that expect to work like you owe them something when in reality they owe you more than you ever will get. The owners will never lift a finger to help keep the business going so don't expect much feedback about your work unless it is negative. The general managers at both McLanahan's locations are very poor at there jobs and are either in the position because of past friendships or because they are being used and fail to realize it. Nepotism is rampant all over McLanahan's creating sometimes silent issues. Overall a poor experience and I advise anyone to look elsewhere for long term employment.

    Pros

Good part time job in college, will pay. Managers can be very fun to work with and hang out with outside of work. Very laid back

    Cons

Very little opportunity for advancement. If you put in an exceptional amount of work you aren't rewarded or compensated in that way.

    Advice to Management

There should be more work put into return on investment for products.

    Pros

They give a good discount to employees
    They have convenient locations
The other employees are generally nice and down to earth

    Cons

    The pay is absolutely awful
None of the employees have had a pay increase in years
The hours are not flexible at all once scheduled

    Advice to Management

Give your employees a raise or two over the course of four years' employment
Study your ordering needs more thoroughly so you don't run out of stock during the week
