    Pros

very good atmosphere, I worked in mathematics and statistics department, you can even ask him to schedule the course which you want to teach.

    Cons

There's nothing cons about the university, everything is excellent. The department is not big.

    Advice to Management

Be brave when apply, some water leaking on the top floor office, everything is fine other than that.

    Pros

Excellent institution, lot of talented person, dedicated staff... one of the best research center in Canada in Biomedical Engineering.

    Cons

Working with student can be a little bit frustrating since they are in training and need time to time to spend hours supervising their work. But it is the same time in every University.

    Pros

Some people you work with are genuinely great, and not fake/pompous like a lot of your other co-workers. Likewise, some students are legitimately good members of the community, but a lot of them are also spoiled brats that take anything and everything you do for granted and treat you a little better than a servant.

    Cons

There are too many to list.

    Advice to Management

Stop coddling students. They're adults now and should be treated as such. Also, make an effort to improve hiring practices. There are too many mentally unstable community advisors that let the "power" go to their heads.

    Pros

A great work environment, especially in hospitality service. Working around students is great because they are usually much friendlier than the general public.

    Cons

The administration in terms of scheduling shifts can be quite horrible. Management cares more about cutting costs than a providing a quality work environment for the workers.

    Advice to Management

Take employee concerns into consideration. Employees are more aware with customer complaints and the daily routines instead of management who deals with many office duty work.

    Pros

Great grad student environment, I had a phenomenal supervisor and got to perform interesting research and travel to a lot of conferences

    Cons

Work life balance as a PhD student can be tricky to find, long hours in the lab and a lousy pay (especially as an international grad student), lots of TA:ing
