Pros

McStain was a great place to work before the economic downturn because of the emphasis on continued learning and giving back to the community. This is the only company I have ever seen have R & D houses to find what "green" features can be included at the production level.

Cons

Because of the hard housing market, McStain is in survival mode and cannot focus on the qualities that used to make it unique and fun - giving back to communities, green innovation, amazing customer service.

Advice to Senior Management

Don't forget what used to attract the best workers to McStain, it shines through these employees to make a great product.
