    Cons

It is seasonal work with no benefits. And, the pay is average.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Increase the work to full time all year long particularly online.

I worked at Measurement Incorporated as a contractor (less than a year)

    Pros

The people are wonderful. Very nice and educated co-workers and supervisors. Plenty of direction is provided for the position (you are given every opportunity to succeed) and someone is always available for questions. Would be great for someone who only wants to work a few months a year (retired, stay-at-home parent, recent graduate looking for something more long-term or someone between jobs) They recently added a few work at home projects, which is great because traffic around the location in Nashville is terrible and probably the worst con of working there.

    Cons

Limited projects and not much advance notice. Only really useful for supplemental income since you only have the opportunity to participate in a handful of projects every year (lasting a few weeks apiece) And many of them run 8-4 Monday through Friday for the duration of the project, so you can't pick them up as a gig on the side.

I worked at Measurement Incorporated (less than a year)

    Pros

Friendly people, management. Chances for overtime and transparency around when you get a raise. People put fun sticky notes up showing most absurd answers.

    Cons

Uncomfortable chairs, which matter when you're sitting all day. Not much done to raise employee morale. Employees were had unhealthy lifestyles- not a fun environment to be in.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There were no incentives for the quality of work you did. I felt like I was scoring better and faster than others, but I got paid the exact same.

I worked at Measurement Incorporated part-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

friendly atmosphere. Work as reader of student essays enjoyable and entertaining. Flexible hours good for those with young children. Older workers and those with handicaps encouraged to apply.

    Cons

Salary low for requirements of BA or BS degree for parttime work... $11 hr. for student essay evaluator. Contract work is only available for a few week at a time throughout the year. You can't live on this. If you are retired the supplemental income is nice.

    Pros

Fun Environment, really nice people. You'll stay busy. The projects are interesting and you get good training.

    Cons

For requiring a BA, you need to pay higher than $10.70/hr. $, need newer microwaves and less chairs. It's way too congested in there.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice
