    I worked at MedCart Specialty Pharmacy full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

    They are willing to work with and around your class schedule, if and only if taking day classes.

    Cons

    Management does not and will not communicate with each other let alone with employees. The owners expect things to be run one way, the VP expects another, and the Pharmacist expects a third, and its up the staff to figure it out. Everything that goes wrong is blamed on the employees, management takes responsibility for nothing. Paychecks are consistently wrong. Employees are expected to work over time and are not paid for it. They are attempting to expand, however supplies are not purchased to compensate the "growth". Employees are promised opportunities for growth, but there is no where for employees to grow.

    Listen to your employees! Invest in your employees, and the supplies not just the building

    I enjoy the fact that the company allows for job position promotion for people would put in the effort.

    Management very serious and should take a chill pill. Otherwise, no much else wrong with Medcart.

    I worked at MedCart Specialty Pharmacy

    Pros

    MedCart is a fast growing, competitive Michigan Specialty Pharmacy. It is very exciting being a part of this team! In a sales position the exceptation is high, the tools are given and you need to be a resutls driven person to have sucess. The compensation is very, very competitive and worth all the hard work. The freedom to make your own schedule is priceless, especially for mothers. I felt very valued and respected and would highly recommend MedCart to any motivated sales person.

    Cons

    With a sales position at MedCart the sales/numbers carry a lot of weight. If you cannot bring in sales, than you probably won't last.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    I would recommend monthly team meetings to boost moral and put in place employee surveys so managenment can get feedback.

    Pros

    Strong management team
    Focus on promoting from within the company
    Encouragement of a team culture
    Achievement oriented management staff
    Fair, friendly, and no nonsense Executives are very supportive with an open door policy
    I feel that working for this progressive and forward-thinking company as been a breath of fresh air

    Cons

    Ongoing construction makes finding a good parking spot a bit difficult. Cost of improvement I guess. Hopefully it should be done with by the Spring.

    Your team approach has helped us all deliver the best products and service to our customers. This employee-centric slant is why this is the best specialty pharmacy in the state. We Love this place. Keep up the great work.

    Pros

    Great for Career advancement in other companies
    The people that work at the office are very nice
    Good for networking oppurtunities

    Cons

    The most disorganized office and work environment Ive ever been apart of
    Their is no communication from management what so ever.
    Executives are tardy or do not show up to a majority of meetings and events
    Their is too much work on too little of employees
    Favoritism is apparent, concerns of personal relationships getting in the way of business
    Ask for simple things, such as a weekly report on account activity seems like a mountain for them
    Difficult time getting promised employee benefits and perks

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Management really needs to work on listening to employees and getting things done more efficiently. Shady business practices need to stop.
