I worked at Medco Health as a contractor for more than 5 years

    Pros

    Worked with some great people

    Cons

Upper management was out of touch (or didn't seem to care) about employees, only their own pockets. (Yeah, yeah, typical corporation.) I left before they became part of ESI. Can you say "anti-trust"?

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Your employees are your best assets and your best PR. Treat 'em right!

    Pros

I have worked there for 5 + years. The benefits and pay structure was generous when I first started working there such as bonuses, insurance and education.

    I worked at Medco Health

    Pros

Medco "former Employer" treated their employee's on all levels with respect. Great benefits, pay. I was proud to have this job for 22 years.

    Cons

I have nothing bad to say about Medco and I have nothing good to say about new company, being they let me go after 22 years.

I have been working at Medco Health full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Pay and benefits and that is all

    Cons

The management does not know how a call center should be run. the system is archaic. I have been there for a while and the system is the same as it has been since I started with very few upgrades. Merged with another company and 150 left on voluntary layoff. No consistency from one supervisor to the next on procedures and statistics...

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I worked at Medco Health full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Commission was amazing as well as the benefits. Training was thorough and assisted in completing duties to the fullest. Managers were there to help assist you in improving sales and provided great learning feedback on how to improve sales techniques.

    Cons

At times there were several changes to scripting and dialogue to callers. Need more training on how to pronounce medicine names and which were maintenance form medications and which were temporary.
