This is a good place to get agency experience if you want to get in the industry.

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee) Voorhees, NJ

ProsThere is a solid work/life balance
    Autonomous working conditions
    Amazing people
Laid back environment and cool office
    Dress code is very casual

    ConsAgency isclient driven not creative
The location in Voorhees is in the middle of nowhere
They push the quantity of work and not the creativity

Advice to Senior ManagementBe more appreciative of the work done by the creatives and promote more of a creative environment. Reward your people for pulling late nights.

    Don't expect anything

Design Technician (Current Employee) Voorhees, NJ

    ProsWorking from home, flexible schedules

ConsNo incentives, high expectations for very low pay

Advice to Senior ManagementTake better care of the people who help make your business what it is!

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

    Sad but true....

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsGood experience, good way to get your foot in the door of the industry.

ConsManagement has no interest whatsoever in anything going on outside of their office door. If you are a warm body with some design sense they will hire you. Client driven, massive workload with many late nights with no appreciation for any extra effort. Notorious for low pay and getting a raise is practically impossible.

    Advice to Senior ManagementCARE.

My experience here was happily short lived.

Design Technician (Current Employee) Voorhees, NJ

ProsA lot of work to keep you busy

Cons- The work isn't very creative most of the time
    - A friend that worked there compared it to a design sweatshop
    - Low pay
    - Friend was denied a raise after working there for over a year
    - Very very client driven, they have the final say, on type and everything else, ones design sense does not matter

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

    Tough shop to work in

    Design Technician (Former Employee)

ProsThroughput-Lots of work going through. I got experience in many areas very quickly. Good energy from co-workers despite pressures of work.

ConsLots of work going through. Tight deadlines. It sink or swim. Senior management shows little interest in their employees. Low morale.

Advice to Senior ManagementWalk the floor. Say good morning to employees at the start of the day. Simple stuff, really. You're not running a 10,000 employee operation where you can't know everyone.

    Heartbreakingly Poor

    Designer (Current Employee)

ProsI've definitely improved my program knowledge, the work is incredibly fast paced, so this is a necessary skill at m&m

ConsVery little involvement from management. Creative staff has very limited interaction with clients. It seems that turnaround time is significantly more important than good ideas or aesthetic value. Company morale is extremely low.

Advice to Senior ManagementPay attention to your employees. Complete reviews at least yearly, and give promotions and raises to those who deserve them!

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
