    Pros

Many good people work here, the location/office environment is great, work is interesting, they let people go who aren't cutting it (i.e. no lazy coworker garuanteed a job), monthly breakfasts and frequent-enough all-hands-on-deck meetings, employee of the month award, pretty strict 9-5 policy.

    Cons

Pretty bureaucratic - upper management is upstairs and rarely seen, as the elevators they use go directly towards outside; lower level workers are downstairs. While people aren't impolite, this isn't the type of place where people go out of their way to be friendly. Also communication is not as open here as at other companies, alot of what goes on occurs in closed-door meetings. HR is very accessible here, which is good if you have an issue, but it leads to silly complaints going to HR - that you talk on the phone too loud, when maybe you only did a few times, or other petty things.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

try to breakdown the canyon between the upper upper management and the rest of the company, value the feedback of workers at all levels.

    Pros

You learn to care for the person who was going to benefit from that finished product.

    Cons

At Medical Action, you work for a long period of time and then someone else is put over you, that dose not know the job you have been doing, but tell you how to do it.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get to know the supervising crew at Medical Action better. [The ones to be hired in the last 8 years.]

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
