I have been working at Medio full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

solid culture around mobile and building on analytics; good work/life balance; very competitive compensation levels (increase with tenure); co-workers are some of the brightest i've worked with; company is based on solid vision and great execution team.

    Cons

given pace of industry, engineering and product not always in lock-step. need more traditional product and program managers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

increase frequency of company meetings and depth of materials and plans that are presented.

I have been working at Medio full-time for less than a year

    Pros

The company is totally focused on customer satisfaction. I’ve seen other small companies over-promise; but not here. The work environment is fun and challenging. Lots of smart people but we all get out for a laugh (or a movie, or drinks, or cooking lessons, etc.).

    Cons

The workspace is crowded and can be noisy.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

We are a small and growing company – keep the dialogue open and let’s see more training & development opportunities.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

They aren't always clear about what we should be focusing on.. Good work gets thrown away or abandoned. Not always sure what my priorities are.

    I worked at Medio

    Pros

Good benefits. Gym, transit pass, snacks provided. Catered food provided at many meetings and bonuses given out for holidays and major milestones.

    Cons

Startup environment with long hours at times. Would like to see some better communication about the state of company on a more regular basis.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Better communication to employees about the state of the company. Would like to see more meetings discussing where the company is headed.

I have been working at Medio full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Lots of smart people and some strong recent hires. Good culture and work/life balance. Solid benefits and a fun work environment. Well positioned for success if they execute on the strategy.

    Cons

Because it's been around a while, Medio doesn't have all the urgency and singular focus of a new startup.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Focus on a few key differentiators.

    Pros

Great place to get mobile experience and see implementations across ecosystem. Great downtown Seattle location, and really smart people to work with. Good kitchen, free everything.

    Cons

offices need an upgrade as they look like a quasi-attorney or perhaps a an public accounting firm's offices without the plush library.
