    I worked at Megaworld

    Pros

Accepted as a fresh grad and have led few project implementation without license. Good training ground for actual architectural experience. Wellness program is commendable. Benefits are good.

    Cons

No career progression with the company. Its either a tenure resigns, or you wont move at all. Have stayed for 6 years and the have been promoted twice due to resignations of tenured employees within the team.
My then department head was one of the most difficult person there is in the company.
Pay is not that competitive in the market.
Health card limit is a bit low

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take time to develop people and find a career progression for the employees so they can move upward not because of resignations but because they were deemed potential leader of the company. Also, employees should be given a chance to move to other department rather than see them resign because they wanted change. Change is something that the managers (being company leaders) should be embraced as retention is more vital than resignations.

I worked at Megaworld full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

The benefits have improved over the years, there is also a retirement fund and 20-30% real estate discount for people in the company who've stayed awhile. For people who have good social skills, most problems and office politicking can be circumvented. Management is generally positive to innovation and talent.

    Cons

Each department has a different culture and there are instances when executives clash and do not cooperate. This is a challenge for people who whose work involves interdepatrmental cooperation. However, it is not unsolvable. People are generally kind and willing to provide help behind the scenes.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

They need to have a smoother system that allows for more innovation and they need to monitor and improve company relationships. Corporate branding internally and externally needs to be improved.
