    Pros

Great benefits; driven coworkers that bring the best out of you; and many opportunities to grow.

    Cons

As a very large organization, it is a bit intimidating at first. I came in as an RSA and eventually found my stride in the clinical practice plan.

    Advice to Management

I was always treated very well for my hard work. I don't have anything negative to say. Please continue to hold job fairs for folks in upstate NY (like me) to find wonderful opportunities at MSKCC!

    Pros

Vacation time is pretty fair, sick time is iffy. There are always new sick time policies. But it is a great environment everyone is very helpful.

    Cons

very hard to move up. Extremely hard. It is almost discouraging. You must constantly call hr and check up on applications. Most are already taken but they have to put them up anyway.

    Advice to Management

Our elevaluation assessment & our performance review got a whole new format. A lot of us don't understand it and it seems a little unfair.

    Pros

The environment here is very academic and enriching, the science is strong, the collaborations are good, and the pay is decent compared to other places.

    Cons

Even with the relatively strong postdoc salary, it's hard to make ends meet in New York City sometimes.

    Pros

It's a great place to be a part of. You really feel like you are helping people.

    Cons

No parking for employees. The train is not an option, and parking is very expensive. It's really ridiculous

    Advice to Management

Treat all employees the same. If you give one set of employees parking coupons give all employees parking coupons. Also, if you want us all to feel like no title is better than the other then stop giving title badges. Everyone should have one. Why do RNs, Pts, ect get them. It makes your other employees feel a way.
