Pros – Nice paid time off
Cons – Home office only cares about the main office. Atmosphere changed so drastically that employee morale was low.
Advice to Senior Management – Show more concern about satellite offices and stripping hardworking people of their jobs
Pros – good pay for Mobile area
Cons – too many to list. New GM is a hachet man, has run off most of the folks that built the division. Ones he brought in have left. Too late getting into Linux and Android, ignored the customer base that built the company, best people leaving in droves. Haven't hit sales quota in forever. Only Mentor's stupidity to keep pumping cash into this failed endeavor keeps the doors open. You'd find better morale in Hell.
Advice to Senior Management – Change for the sake of change was stupid. I guess you know that now.
Pros – The benefits are great and there is a family atmosphere amongst peers which helps with communication and the learning process. The workers are also very intelligent and friendly.
Cons – The upper management is disconnected at manly levels. Therefore, there is a lack of direction. If this were resolved Mentor Graphics would be an excellent technology firm to work for, if it wasn't already.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
Pros – Little Stress in daily operations
Cons – Poor Compensation and No Job Security
Advice to Senior Management – No feedback to submit .... was laid off
