    This company rewards success. It is a sales company and moves at a fast pace - success is rewarded and failure is - well - not. This perspective is from the sales side of the business, not engineering (software creation)

    Pros

    Almost everyone there is approachable and willing to help answer questions when needed. Great place to start out a career.

    Cons

    Deadlines were not always a priority and the top priority task would change multiple times per week. Resulting in a lot of wasted time changing back and forth.

    Pros

    Mentor Graphics' open culture provides excellent opportunities for people to interact with and learn from senior management. Mentor Graphics takes a genuine interest in its employees and is supportive of people who have specific career goals. The company's managers are truly committed to their stated value: "win, ethically".

    Cons

    The Electronic Design Automation industry is mature and growing slowly which limits the rate at which Mentor Graphics' can grow. Mentor Graphics is not the place to go if you are looking for extremely rapid expansion.
