    Pros

You get to play around with a lot of technologies and managers encourage you to try new stuff. The infrastructure is huge.

    Cons

There are periods where work/life balance is not so good. The learning curve is steep when you first join the company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Promotions should not be based solely on how long have you worked there

I have been working at Mercadolibre full-time

    Pros

Work environment is very relaxed. Failure is an option if you are willing to take risks. You are free to use whatever technology you want for any given project. The company is always looking for ways to reinventing itself. The headquarters are very nice, although a little crowded. The environment is very open, so it's really easy to get in touch with managers at any moment.

    Cons

Sometimes it takes too long to get promoted, salaries are not as good as they should be for developers

    Pros

Great place and great people. Lots of knowledge there, you will grow a lot as a professional and as a person as well.

    Cons

You have to challenge yourself to everyday, always be ready for something new. Not sure about growth possibilities yet. Recruiters always make some promises that can't deliver.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Keep on. Great culture.

    Pros

There is no better place in latin america if you want a lot of traffic and lot of infrastructure.

    Cons

Kindof unbalanced work-life. It demands a lot if you want to keep growing

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You cannot always be better year to year, and being "the same" should not be marked as bad

I have been working at Mercadolibre

    Pros

Some highlights are its openness, flexibility, great working atmosphere, really good management, and a lot of chances of professional growth.

    Cons

The downsides are maily related to its human resources policies, lack of clear incentives, lack of benefits towards the employee and not so good salaries.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

My advice would be to invest more in human resources policies, including better compensation and benefits to employees. Establish clear career paths and better retention plans for employees.
