    Okay place to work

ProsMercatus is great with their really lax dress code (can wear anything from jeans and sneakers to business casual). They also have a great vacation policy (as many days as you need as long as you get your work done).

ConsThe biggest issue at Mercatus is the gap between what they say they do versus what they actually do. Basically, a lot of preaching without much practicing.

Advice to Senior ManagementDon't be afraid to fire people that tend to be the "rotten eggs" in the organization. Be more open about relationships with key donors.
