    Great group of people

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsI worked here for nine years and would have stayed if the magazine I worked for hadn't folded. I did not meet one mean person the entire time I worked here. The work-life balance is excellent.

ConsThe health insurance got very expensive. I worked on the editorial side, and it was hard to move up. Staffs are VERY lean.

Few resources, no raises, no job security.

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsI enjoy most of the people I work with. Parking is convenient. Benefits are decent. Overall work environment is pleasant at times, highly political at other times.

ConsYou just never know when you'll be the next person to get a pink slip. There's no money to invest in growing our business or for giving employees raises. Yet the highest levels of management are grossly over-compensated, which isn't good for morale.

Advice to Senior ManagementAllow the business and employees to grow through investment. Lead by example when it comes to raises.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
