Great place to start your career

    Media Planner (Former Employee)

ProsI learned a lot and really enjoyed my experience. The agency invested in their employees and encouraged a good work/life balance. Everyone got along which created a very comfortable and enjoyable work environment.

ConsI dont have much to say here other than opportunities for advancement were limited. It took a long time to get promoted but that didn't stop the work and responsibilities from increasing.

Hustle and you can produce some decent work

    Art Director (Former Employee)
    New York, NY

ProsGood life work balance. Some big name clients. Great place to start your career, especially if you hustle and make the most of it. Certain creative directors will try and help get your career off the ground. Nice people. Fun laid back atmosphere.

ConsLittle old fashioned. Need more young fresh talent to grow within the agency. Need to beef up their digital chops a bit.

Advice to Senior ManagementDo not take advantage of the young talent.

    Not enough delegation.

    Creative (Former Employee)

ProsFriendly atmosphere. Good people. Hard workers.

ConsGood people don't get listened to. Clients dictate. The agency doesn't have much of a backbone.

Advice to Senior ManagementTrust the people you employ to do what you employed them for.

    Very Dysfunctional

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsNice downtown NYC location. Food on Fridays. Mercedes account, which I am not sure how they landed given what I experienced.

ConsExtremely dysfunctional environment, which seems to be encouraged by their leadership. Little to no communication between teams. Lots of gossiping and political maneuvering/games. Out of the box thinking and work is rewarded with ostracism and you being seen as a threat. Predominantly young office (average age 25yrs, some younger), so may not be a good fit if you're a more "seasoned" employee. Non existent leadership.

Advice to Senior ManagementNot sure how you guys plan on retaining good talent. Your workforce is made up of senior folks who are not qualified, and junior people who are inexperienced, and the few good talented people who do come through your doors, you push away with your games. You should consider hiring an outside consultant to evaluate you and your processes and give you objective feedback.

    Good People Here

    Account Executive (Current Employee)
    New York, NY

ProsLots of smart young people at the agency that are willing to work their butts off. The place doesn't get a lot of credit for the cool stuff it's doing. It actually does a bunch of innovative stuff online now. New creative teams are doing nice work and new digital department is good.

ConsAgency is still a bit old school. Management oversees everything. They should trust their younger folks a bit more and give them more responsibility.

Advice to Senior ManagementGive the hard workers the right support

    Great people to work with!

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)
    New York, NY

ProsEveryone I've worked with has been professional, approachable, and friendly. The group that I work with most is on the ball - communicating with one another well in advance of deadlines, and running things smoothly and efficiently. I like the recently revamped website!

ConsWould like to see reviews happen more frequently.

Advice to Senior ManagementYou're on the right path with more agency-wide meetings.

    Good place to work

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)
    New York, NY

ProsPeople are really nice here. Nice roof to hangout (which is rarely open in summer). Lot of new enthusiastic employees.

ConsNothing in particular about my department, but overall company is isolated within different groups. There is never any formal introduction of new employees when they join the team.

Advice to Senior ManagementLeadership is lacking as whole. However, I think lower level managers are much more competent than some that are higher up.
