    had an amazing commercial culture with absolute focus on results, which were rewarded fairly
    Worked in a fantastic team, which made the success all the more valuable

    Cons

    Political organisation, which tended to work fro some people but not for others.
    This led to friction sometimes, which was completely unneccesary

    Free food at the office, I really respected my bosses, and overall was a great internship.

    90% of my job was cold calling and that was boring.

    Great introduction to the financial world. Worked in Global Wealth Management. Really nice people and a generally relaxed work atmosphere. Flexible hours for full time employees.

    Cold calling. Got intern salary which was very very low.

    Merrill Lynch has a great internship program that provides many opportunities to learn and advance your career. That being said, you only get out what you put it so it's overall benefit is truly up to you.

    Cons

    Depending on the week hours could be long and work-life balance could suffer. Though this is usually offset by the perks and pay of the job.
