    Pros

you'll learn alot about securities and sophisticated investments

I worked at Merrill Lynch as an intern for less than a year

    Pros

    Great experience for your resume.

    Cons

Little to no guidance and spotty management.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Unpaid interns can still be a waste of time on both ends if there's little guidance/communication and expectations are unclear. This job entails being a self-starter, but since most unpaid wealth management interns are students with other obligations, guidance and communication from your boss is extremeley helpful: a little goes a long way.
