    Need to make WLAN compatible with all devices
    No one market seems to embrace Meru (maybe focus on just education?)

    Marketing manager

    Former Employee - Anonymous Employee
    Former Employee - Anonymous Employee

    I worked at Meru Networks full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    The technology itself can probably compete with the rest of the market

    Cons

    Often very muddled and unclear top level messages, inefficient processes and teamwork. Seems like people are overly concerned with their individual priorities, rather than working collectively. Very inward-looking in terms of their approach, seems like they are always trying to react to what other companies in the space are doing, and what is going on internally rather than focusing on serving their customers first and foremost.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

    * Get to work on a unique and brilliant wireless technology.
    * Good work culture
    * Good compensation
    * Friendly coworkers

    Cons

    Unique technology of Meru is not well understood or rather misunderstood. It is still a small company and needs to stand up to its "Meru"ic potential.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Needs to focus on growing revenues with the wireless boom in number of wireless devices round the corner.

    Recommends
    Positive Outlook
    Approves of CEO
