I have been working at MetLife full-time

    Pros

Great brand, great history. Many committed people. Generally decent work/family balance (depending on your position). Historically, strong commitment to doing the right thing.

    Cons

Current management is after change. This may be good but communication is so bad (at a time when communication would be more important than ever given the change climate) it is not clear as to what the direction is. Leaving employees feeling insecure and less committed than usual. Bad trend.

    Advice to Management

Clear communication to people from the top and every management level going down and instill in managers the need to communicate and give them the info so that they can communicate effectively.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

The benefits and vacation benefits are good.

    Cons

The management team made employee centricity a main goal and I am pretty sure they have no idea what that means. Management solicits opinions on how to improve workflow and then basically makes things worse than they were before. There is extremely limited opportunities for advancement.
