    I worked at Metadata Management Corporation full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

    It's a small company, so you don't have the usual office politics. Fast-paced environment with continually-changing customer requirements keeps things interesting. Management fully supports the developers, and leeway is given to try to technologies, Very casual work environment. Hard work is rewarded.

    Cons

    Keeping up with client requests can be stressful. Small company, so you don't have all of the resources found in a larger company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    A formal, yearly review would be appreciated by the employees; not everyone is content with the current informal process.
