I have been working at Methodist Hospital for more than a year
Pros – Senior Executives truly care about their employees. Good benefits, great childcare, CEO really stands by mission. It's truly a community hospital that cares about local businesses and people's livelihoods. A lot of leaders are passionate about the patients' care and the employees' experiences.
Cons – Attendance policy is strict. As with any other public service institution, there are flaws and frustrations, and occacional bad seeds, however there are very few places left that allow you to feel part of a greater good.
Advice to Senior Management – Look harder for potential within. Look for policies to make it easier for eager and loyal employees to be promoteable.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

I worked at Methodist Hospital full-time for more than 10 years
Pros – Employee Benefits, community access, some very nice and competent medical and nursing professionals are employed here
Cons – Leaders are not held accountable and in turn are not reliable to hold staff accountable therefore many do not function professionally or congruently with hospital mission and policy.
Advice to Senior Management – Ask why the staff turnover rate is high. Directors will only tell what they want and much is fabricated. Better talk to more frontline and heed the information there. Bad apples are at the top.
