-Not a good job for teenagers because they do not care if you have homework
-Treat female workers with no respect
-One of the managers is VERY inappropriate, even with customers
-When I went to get my paycheck for my last week they payed me in cash and deducted $40 for no reason
    -No breaks
    -advised to lie to customers
-expected to make a sell to every person that walks through the door and get extremely upset if you let one go without them buying something

Great place to learn and grow within Wireless Retail

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsOpportunity to develop your sales skills and learn more about the wireless industry. Positive management team and great co-workers.

ConsChanges in business process due to merger have been cumbersome. Still some uncertainity with regard to jobs at the regional level.

I love this company. Best place to work.

    Not Sure (Current Employee)
    Richardson, TX

ProsInnovative, caring, and quite impressive leadership (Malcolm, Roger). Folks were all part of a team dedicated to providing a better service to customers.

ConsNot a lot. They were sometimes not good at training at least MY manager LOL in how to be a good manager, but he was the exception, and obviously, I managed.

Advice to Senior ManagementNot a lot, they sold us and i applaud them -- they wanted to do something no one else had, and they did! they did it first, and they did it best!

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

A so so place for someone with not much experience.

    Store Manager (Current Employee)
    San Diego, CA

ProsCompany is so new that advancement is very fast if you prove you can produce

Conshours are borderline illegal, no benefits at all.

Advice to Senior ManagementHave a stronger plan for managing employees, and the lack of attention to details is a big problem for workers in stores. Better pay will result in happier workers and more productivity, people are willing to work hard if rewarded.

    A Really Average Company

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsThe company was frugal, and it DID pass the savings to its customers in the form of substantial cost savings for similar product offerings.

ConsWe were constantly reminded of the fact that we were working for the "low cost provider," affecting each dollar spent. The middle- and lower-tier employees were a distant concern for executive management, to whom, we were reminded, "we owe our livlihoods."

Advice to Senior ManagementHave you forgotten the working masses that built your dream and made you more wealthy?

Telecommunications service provider and cell phone organization with BIG goals and vision.

Director of Finance and Operations (Former Employee)
    Alameda, CA

ProsThe San Francisco regional office was run like other progressive bay area entities; business casual dress, a few friendly dogs in the office daily, and fun team builders; overall positive, knowledgeable, and professional employees from top to bottom ... although there is a few less than.

ConsDuring my tenure, there seemed to be an underlying drive to consolidate infrastructure at Corporate [Dallas] that was not spoken of but clearly existed.

Unfortunately, due to bonus structure, the operational regions seem to be in competition with each other although presented as collaborative by Corporate.

Advice to Senior ManagementAs the acquisition by T-Mobile continues to progress, be forthright with employees who may be in positions considered for consolidation [layoffs] and the timing thereof.
