Current Employee – been working at MetroPCS full-time for more than a year
Pros – Shortest hours I have worked for a salary position. Off Sundays, as close to 9-5 as you can get in a retail store.
Cons – It is a little bit of a Good ol' boys club where those who have been around with the company from founding have found their way to immunity from termination no matter what they do.
Advice to Senior Management – Decrease a bit of the micro-management that goes on. Trust the people you hired to do the job you hired them to do.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Current Employee – been working at MetroPCS full-time for more than 8 years
Pros – Your opinion matters in this company
Cons – pay could be a bit more. but really most employees are here because of the culture and the take away is all the things that you learn and trained very well on all aspects of the industry.

Current Employee – been working at MetroPCS
Pros – Sales is a fast pace industry. This company does a great in keep their employees well supplied with information and coaching when needed.
Great potential to make a living if sales is your thing.
Cons – The pay rate can be an issue sometimes as they start at state minimum rate with a somewhat hard goal to meet in order to get a raise. There is lack of benefits to most employees due to the turn over rate.
Advice to Senior Management – More involvement with employees! encouragement and coaching will go a long way. You're almost there but just a bit more would be better. Also, a more in depth review of sales made known to the employees would help a lot more.

Current Employee – been working at MetroPCS
Pros – -Free medical insurance
-Free phone service plan
-Flexible spending account
-You don’t need to have a BA degree to get a management position
-You don’t need to have experience to be a manager.
Cons – -Macro-management (manager is checking your arrival time, lunch time)
-No reward for your hard work
-No respect for your lunch time (manager interrupt your lunch time with work related questions)
