    Pros

    The environment and staff makes you want to get up and go to work. Filled with high energy and strong vibrant staff.

    Cons

    In this economic state the hours can be cut short depending on how current sales are fitting into where we should be. Keeping that in mind the pay can start to seem very little.

    Pros

    Relaxed atmosphere. Half of the time, it is an enjoyable place to work. On top of that, there is an opportunity for commision. Hours are flexible.

    Cons

    Other half of the time, they will drive you to work hard. trying to get commission is almost impossible. People tend to be replaced pretty quickly.

    Advice to Management

    The leadership is pretty good. They are hard workers.

    Opportunity for growth, Great atmosphere, ability to meet new people

    Cons

    Too many people working & competing for "incentives"

    Advice to Management

    Focus on the employees as opposed to the customer. Too much customer service with weak product selection is not a good combination. When the product is not there. Without products customers can only get so much. Too much customer is a turnoff & can prevent ultimate sales!!!

    Pros

    The pay is decent and you don't do too much work, unless it's a Friday or Saturday and the Mall of America is packed. You stand in the store and wait for customers to walk in so you can convince them to buy what they don't need and meet your sales quota.

    Cons

    The management does a poor job of motivating their workers and give you a slap on the hand if you don't meet your sales quota for the month as well as a write-up and threat to cut you if it happens again.

    Advice to Management

    I understand that you have many people wanting to work at this retail store and do not fear being short on employees, since the discount for premium denim jeans and designer shirts is significant, but you should try to KEEP the workers that you have by motivating them more than you demean them when sales quotas are not met. This will lead to employees wanting to stay, and not quit (as I did), which leads to more incentive for employees to work, ultimately leading to higher customer satisfaction.

    Pros

    It was a very diversity place to work. It was a good place to network and work with people from all walks of life. and you never know who might walk in that door to meet.

    Cons

    It wasn't a Commission base company. So you can work really hard at sales and get nothing in return for it but your standard hourly base.

    new designers and brands. Work with awesome people, sell to awesome people. upbeatfastpaced atmosphere. DJ! amazing events. Everything was good

    Pros

    It was fun to work with young people and goof off. You could eat whatever food you wanted and hardly get any hours.

    Cons

    It's extremely hot during the summer and they have no air conditioning. You work every weekend and the pay is horrible

    Advice to Management

    You should pay us better especially if you expect us to do everything. You should also be more involved in your business.

    Great discounts and excellent environment with co workers

    Cons

    Low hours each week, no opportunities to move up at all.

    Communicate with your staff much more, give more montly discounts

    Pros

    you get a decent employee discount of 35 %. usually coworkers and managers are pretty chill and they play some pretty good music to get you through a shift.

    Cons

    you're probably gona work with cocky know it all fashion students as your coworkers. makes sense as it is a premium fashion store.

    Advice to Management

    the opportunity of growth is whatever. a coworker of mine who has been with the company for years was waiting for a promotion that never came. he eventually quit moving on the bigger better things.

    Pros

    Management is respectful, helpful, and pretty much amazing. The benefit of it still being a small company means more professional growth and opportunity to learn a lot about retail operations. Sales-based incentives offer the opportunity to make extra cash and current promotions may help you score some free merchandise. SWAG! Motivational work environment makes it fun and casual. Company is in tune with employees at all levels and committed to hearing creative input or suggestions. The DJ is on the weeks is a plus and co-workers make the work fun and the meetings fun...ner.

    Cons

    Depending upon store location, the hours can be competitive and you have to prove yourself to earn the desired amount of hours you want to work. Peak hours and weekends are overstaffed, which can hinder your personal sales if there's a lot of shopper traffic or leave you begging for tasks if it turns out to be a slow day. Since it is still a fairly small company, the opportunity for growth is rare, but not impossible. Sometimes the sales floor turns into a competitive sales battlefield. If you thrive on competition, consider this a pro, but if someone helps you out don't be surprised if there's a catch. Like, taking your sale.

    Advice to Management

    Step up your eco-friendliness. The boxes in the stock room and the amount of paper wasted for the fitting rooms is just depressing, as well as contradictory to a company that promotes the 11th Hour. Sales performances are usually a reflection of management's attitude. In support of the company's integrity and the authenticity of your brands, the website could use a spelling and content makeover. Not trying to be a grammar snob. Just sayin...call me.
