    Pros

MCH has great health benefits at a reasonable cost, tuition reimbursement, annual success sharing bonuses, and staff that are passionate about their job. This has been one of the best places I have ever been employed at. Yes, it's hard work and long days sometimes, but it's worth it. We have flex work hours, and seem to have more and more employees working remote, which is a fantastic morale booster. I think most of our leaders are good, and some are wonderful. I love the clowns and pets, who not only make the children and families laugh and smile, but the staff as well!

    Cons

There are no food options or discounts for offsite employees.

    Advice to Management

Keep looking at our internals for promotions, and have senior leadership show their faces more often and visit - even to offsite departments! Provide some type of MCH lunches to offsite locations - at least a few times per week.

    Pros

Good people. Dynamic place. Lots going on. Opportunity to learn is tremendous.

    Cons

Lots of the things marketed are not true. Poor process management. Horrible evaluation process. Top leadership are disconnected from operations. They have no clue what staff go through but they make decisions for the worker.

    Advice to Management

C-suite must show respect to staff. Talk to people. Get a fresh eye not old school in HR, revamp process. Calibration is mismanaged. You leave feeling disempowered and disenchanted. Stop beating people up and start showing appreciation.

    Pros

As a full time employee in the psych department I was given a decent benefits package. Insurance, 401k, and PTO that you could basically use when you want. In the psych department, scheduling was kinda easy. I went to school and they accommodated my schedule spot on. They also had tuition reimbursement upto 4k as long as you're full time. The hospital, It's normally clean (as hospitals go), they have loads of activities for the kids, and the nurses seem to enjoy their jobs. Nice discount on food :)

    Cons

As usual the management isn't perfect. It's a lot of people to answer to but no real progress or issues solved. Parking isn't great and the pay for a full time behavioral health tech started at $10.20 for me with my bachelors and no experience.

    Advice to Management

It seemed like their was too many managers and supervisors. A big boss was never really around or clearly identified.

    Cons

Compensation could be better. The company needs to be more creative to provide more incentives to high peformers.
