Pros – Offers great visibility and experience at a fast-paced, results oriented medical research foundation
Cons – Little opportunity for movement within the Foundation, leadership is reticent to give additional responsibility. Competition among fundraisers/leadership for prospects and donors.
Advice to Senior Management – Management should work harder to identify exceptional talent and do what they can to help advance their careers within the organization, rather than waiting until someone is frustrated, unhappy or has been offered another opportunity elsewhere.
Pros – The Foundation is making excellent strides in PD research, and being part of that mission is empowering. Office terrace is great, too.
Cons – Very cliquey work environment. No repercussions for people who slack off. Rare rewards for people who excel. The poor performers seem to be promoted more than the great ones. Rigid work hours. Little flexibility.
Advice to Senior Management – Allow for more flexibility, and don't let people get away with things so easily.

Pros – Great mission and very dedicated staff; people are friendly.
Cons – Extremely aggressive with constant deadlines; not a 40 hrs/wk job no matter what position you're in. If you want to be a comfortable level with your work, be prepared to come early/stay late. Meetings happen all the time -People have meetings about things that can be assigned/conveyed via email. Training/onboarding to internal processes is very lacking as well.
Advice to Senior Management – You need to really evaluate workload and maybe hire staff so people aren't constantly overwhelmed.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
