  1. The work was okay but the work was too infrequent and not accurate when it comes to payday.

    Pros

There was a lot to learn within different industries and you were always busy when given work.

    Cons

The pay isn't the best and the work wasn't frequent enough, also the other majority of other employees are childish and immature.

    Advice to Management

Increase pay, make work more accessible and assess employees properly before hiring anybody.

    Pros

You can work as many or as few hours as you want so is really easy to fit around studies. It's also easy to leave and come back to -I left for a year and was able to return with no problems. MWA staff are really friendly and understanding. I've done similar work with another agency, but MWA were far superior in the way they treat their staff. On the whole there's a good rapport between colleagues.

    Cons

The nature of the events means that tips are rare, which is unusual for a hospitality job.

Shifts are often longer than expected

Can be quite stressful, tempers can fly

although MWA staff are great, that has no bearing on the staff and rules in the venue you're working at so it can be unpredictable in that sense

    Pros

I couldn't think of a single nicer place to work. Franky in Nottingham is so lovely and is always so helpful and welcoming. You only work when YOU want to, brilliant to fit around school/college/uni life.

    Cons

Personally I don't feel that I need training, however there are some new members of the team that may benefit some basic til training before their first shift.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing, its the BEST place to work for.

    Pros

Been working for the organisation on and off since 2009. The company was great when I started with them but now the recruitment team is so rude!!!

    Cons

They will pay you 3 or hours less than what you worked and tell you that is what the client sent and there is nothing they can do.when you send them emails regards to any pay issues, they will ignore you!

    Advice to Management

Should try to carry out a employee questionnaire and you will realise that a lot of your staff are not happy! Because they are treated like crap! And that is why some leave or don't show up for work.

    Pros

You only work when you want to and the pay is above minimum wage. Plenty of work around Christmas time and easy to fit in around studies and other commitments etc. Other colleagues are generally friendly and work can be fun and fast paced.

    Cons

Management can be rude to junior staff. Sometimes shift hours are changed without sufficient prior notice. Hours can be until very late at night, particularly during Christmas events. Work can be repetitive and at times dull.

    Advice to Management

Improve communication with junior staff and make sure that people are properly prepared for the job that they have been assigned to do. Make sure that appropriate training has been given.
