  1. Miss the good old days.

    Pros

Learned alot about the computer repair business. Truly enjoyed going to work everyday. Met some interesting people from all over the world!

    Cons

Once the company started having financial difficulties everthing went downhill quickly. Numerous payroll checks were returned for insufficient funds. Even when times were good the employees rarely received a yearly review. Unfortunately this company is still hanging on by a thread.

I worked at Micro Medics full-time

    Pros

Great co-workers! learn a lot from other co-workers.

    Cons

Morals went 100% there disagreed with what management did from time to time. Paychecks started to bounced, and management didn't seem to care anymore.

    Advice to Management

    Improve Values, respect your employees.

I worked at Micro Medics full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Learned a lot from other technicians. If it was over 100 degree's in the warehouse you got free water! Wow!

    Cons

Terrible working conditions. Basically an "assembly line" of computer laptop repair. Stacks of laptops came in on one end of bench, you fixed them, then put on the other end of bench for pickup. The worst part was the low morale due to one of the owners who felt his job in the world was to belittle and demean people. He had the opinion that "you can be replaced". After working there for almost 2 years, I'd had enough as did many of the other workers.

    Advice to Management

    Grow up

I worked at Micro Medics full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The staff there is pretty good with unlimited wealth of knowledge that can never be obtained through educational institutions.

    Cons

Working conditions were absolutely terrible which were borderline to breaking OSHA rules. In two words I would say it's "boot camp". Zero training at this institution with management expecting 0% error. Morale is rather low with zero compliments for completion of task. Management is okay capable of pointing out the employee mistakes yet denies their own.

    Advice to Management

Management REQUIRES further coaching and training. Power trip abuse is another concern which poorly reflects the skills of management.

    Pros

The only reason to work for Micro Medics is because you need a paycheck.

    Cons

The owner Matt Sheasby has a wife-beater mentality. Management does not help the technician succeed. Management is childish; it harasses the staff, calls the techs names, harbors people who sexually harrass the office ladies.

    Advice to Management

Learn to be professional. Management is about giving the people you are responsible for the best chance to succeed at their positions. Take the fair share of responsibility for the failings of the technical and office staff because those failings exist in part because of your lack of management and followthrough.
