Pros
Balance between work and life, enough training to get started

Promotion is mostly based on working years, not that fair
Pros
Great work/personal life balance, most of the time respecting personal time, and compensating for overtime. Pay is decent for job functions.
Cons
There is almost null training, whether it is on industry-wide standards and practices or new technologies. Similarly, time dedicated to training is somewhat limited.
In terms of growth, opportunity is scarce although it is easy to move horizontally.
Advice to Senior Management
Create career paths for employees to develop abilities that help them grow personally in that path. Incentivate, promote and/or pay for training.
Pros
Good atmosphere, friendly environment, fair compensation, moderate pressure. A nice place to enjoy your life, but if you want to be aggressive and make fast progress in your career, it might not be a good choice.
Cons
"Flat management" means you don't have much opportunity to get promoted. Promotions are largely based on "years-of-service", not ability or performance.
Advice to Senior Management
More efforts need to be made on helping employees to grow and advance in their career path. Better measurement system should be adopted to observe employee's performance.
Pros
Good co. - Lots of training options. Good growth / recognition.
Cons
Be ready to travel if you are a consultant (mainly within area, but sometimes outside also - well, after all they make money only when you are billing ...). Experience limited to the tool.

have stock options and other benefits available to make employees feel part of the family.

Benefits and compensation plans are above average. Opportunities for growth and advancement are also above average.

Sometimes messaging about new products and services takes some time to get through the organization.

mobility within company, can switch between departments though takes time (6 months at least)

I had great managers in every department I worked in, people who truly cared about me and developing my career.

little brand recognition
overly focused on technology - marketing too techie
lack of strategic thinking for the long term
management have all been there for 15+ years since the company was small, little outside perspective or MBAs
very slow to get raise or move positions, HR is not powerful (though this is true in general, HR really has no power)

hire more experts from outside
pay for advanced degrees/MBAs
focus more on sales and marketing instead of just the technology
