Pros
Training is really good. Big pro that training is upfront prior to starting role full time.
Cons
Can be a gamble with the hiring and training process, as passing all training courses is condition of employment. If you don't pass, your employment is terminated, which can be hard if you have a family and left previous company.
Pros
Leader in Mobile Business Intelligence software. iPhones and iPads for most employees.
Cons
As with any consulting service company, too much is dependent on the billable revenue you bring in even with some important factors are out of your control like bill rate, project hour estimates etc.

Keep pushing for mobile.

The people and the technology are great. A lot of collaboration between employees at all levels in the company. Great A-list customer base.
Cons
Very little to say from a downside except that sometimes it it is challenging to keep great employees because of the competitive salaries that are out there.

Listening to the market on what is needed for improving their technology offering. Your employees are one of your greatest assets.

- A team made of very intelligent and friendly people.
- Great Technology.
- You will be exposed to a lot of challenges, different people and get to travel.

- Negotiate well your first salary... because it won't get much better.
- You are a service to be sold. So don't expect anyone to be concerned about your profesional growth, keep your eyes open, learn and don't stay too long....
- You will spend about 2 or 3 hours per year talking to your manager, so the feedback you will get from him is limited, to say the least.
Advice to Senior Management
People are not motivated, 50% is exhausted for trying to get a well deserved raise or promotion and everyone playing games.
A good part of why the customers buy services it's because we work our butts off to deliver good results, so just give us what is fair and make it transparent... or people will keep leaving.
Pros
The pay is really good and you can obtain a lot of knowledge from the variety of courses you can take, specially the boot camp
Growth of the company on the last years has been really good

We just moved to a new building so right now we are dealing with lack of space and we are waiting for the new floors to be finished.

There are just a few leaders of the company, most of them have been here since the start up which makes it a vulnerable part of the company

Difficult to get promoted especially from Senior Consultant level
Compensation plan changed significantly to the detriment of consultants
Hired too many new consultants with no MicroStrategy experience which means if you are an experienced with the product you will be propping these new people up.
Decent salary raises only obtained by offering your resignation.
Advice to Senior Management
Make life a little better for consultants that are on the road. Currently there is no benefit in working out of your home office. Living out of a hotel can be tiring over long periods so you should be compensated in some way.
Pros
The headquarters office has great energy and vibe. The BI tool is extremely sophisticated and they make sure you are properly trained and experienced to drive clients throughout their challenges, everything according to your delivery level.
It's great for networking and knowledge sharing, also, spending a stint here will help you to add that to your belt in case you want to open a consulting practice, there's far more demand than supply for quality BI consulting.
Cons
Pay is simply miserable. There is a total lack of merit-based culture. If you work on a H1B, get ready to be subject to slavery for the next 10 years since they don't sponsor EB2 applications under any circumstance, it doesn't matter how many time you have preserved or extended business for them.
Extremely poor management, there seems to be a huge disconnect between what happens in the field to the perception from upper management, therefore, always missing the point in strategic decisions.
The Services team has shifted from being a strategic - elite - $250/hr or more very select team to a body shop that sells you at whatever price to keep the clients happy and pays you no respect. From being somewhere close to McKinsey it now looks more like a body shop (ie. TCS, Polaris, Infosys)
Advice to Senior Management
There are so many ways to keep employees motivated. However, for the last few years, there seems to be no attention to that. Happy hours or trips to downtown Dallas are not incentives for an employee.
Like I said, keeping in mind that everyone's needs are different you could look into some of these options:
EB2 Applications for those with a solid track record.
Percentages of total revenue billed for those with a relationship - long term engagement with clients.
Better management - we want to feel motivated after we listen to management. These days everyone feels more and more encouraged to leave after listening to your presentations.
Overall there is a young crowd trying to excel. Look into providing grad school stipends for those you find potential in. Anybody with an MBA in mind will be encouraged to leave if you continue this policy of no-tuition-support whatsoever.
