We should be less metric driven.
Pros
They are one of the best company in the world so you will have the opportunity to work with some of the best brain of the industry. Their pay and benefits are decent.
Cons
This is already a grown up place and so they did not need people for long run in bangalore setup. Every quarter they screw some people for no reason because work has not moved from US to bangalore as yet. If you allow me to say about MS bangalore culture then it is just big boss culture where people get nominated and evacuted from the house every quarter.
Advice to Senior Management
Please stop big boss culture and throw people in one short and allow others to nurture their career dream. Replacing one apple with orange or guava will not suffice your long term strategic goals here.
Pros
Great brand to work for
Awesome community to work for
Great package to work for
Awesome scale and diversity of work to work for
Cons
Sluggish growth and a very repetitive career model
Too much fat in upper management to be good for the company
Management cliques are unfair
Advice to Senior Management
Please do something about the sluggish career growth, both in terms of the work and the culture which can do with a youthful revamp
Pros
good salary, gr8 place to work, gr8 ppl around
Cons
huge org. 1 size does not fit all
Pros
They value your passion towards technology.
They take into consideration your life's choices and decisions while recruiting you
They take care of you and your family
Cons
Can be a very competitive environment
The organization is management-heavy, and the manager's word is golden. So if you get on the wrong side of your manager, you might as well kiss your career goodbye
Advice to Senior Management
Take your employees into consideration while making some really important decisions
